Local all-trans band 4th Curtis releases debut full-length album

For release February 19th.

"I Won the Pageant" is the first studio album by the St. Paul-based all-trans indie pop band 4th Curtis. They’ve poured every ounce of glitter & sewage they could find into a 10-track odyssey that's equal parts humor and tragedy, exploring the stages of grief through grammatical errors and unrecognizable inside jokes. IWTP is set to be released on 2/24/17.

Two days after the release, the band will take the stage at 7th Street Entry to celebrate the album alongside fellow local acts Lydia Liza and ahem.

4th Curtis was originally the solo project of singer/songwriter/guitarist Lex Noens, but has since expanded to include Maddie Morley (drums) and Ty Gale (keys/backing vocals). Since the full band got together in late 2015, they’ve attracted a tight-knit following drawn to their experimentally glamorous tunes and their insatiable need to broadcast their transness to the greater Twin Cities area.
